About the firm
Jonathan Law Advocates is a full-service law firm practising across Kenya from offices in Nairobi, Mwea and Embu. We act for individuals, families and businesses in matters that usually arrive at a difficult moment — a death in the family, a disputed boundary, an arrest, a deal that has gone wrong.
Our name for it is the infinite solutions provider, but what it means in practice is narrower and more useful: whatever you bring us, you should not have to go and find another firm to finish it.
We also act in corporate and church disputes — boardroom disagreements, shareholder and governance fights, and the leadership, property and constitutional questions that arise within churches and other registered societies. Both call for the same thing: someone who understands the governing documents and can keep the matter from becoming personal.
Our mission
To deliver strategic, ethical and results-driven legal solutions — and to explain them in language our clients can act on.
Our vision
To be the firm Kenyans reach for first, trusted equally in a Nairobi boardroom and a Kirinyaga land case.
How we work
A first meeting is about working out what you are actually facing and what it will cost to deal with it. You will leave knowing the likely outcome, the likely timeline, and the basis on which we charge — in writing, before any work starts. Where we think court is not worth it, we will say so.
Every file carries its own checkpoints and dates, so nothing waits on someone remembering it, and any advocate here can pick up any file and know exactly where it stands. That matters on the day your matter is called and the advocate who opened it is in another court.
